Port Susan Food and Farming Center

Imagine Stanwood/Camano... ten, twenty, or fifty years from now. What do you see? Vanishing farmland replaced by strip malls and housing developments similar to some of the other local farming areas? Is there a way to avoid this? To provide prosperity, beauty and sustainability to our local community? The Port Susan Food and Farming Center will be an agricultural and community hub. It may contain a commercial kitchen for local entrepreneurs to create value-added products to sell in the wholesale or retail markets. It may also include a bakery, a bottling facility, a farmer's market, a food co-op, rental retail space, small business incubator, distribution channels, and more. Take the survey to let us know your needs and desires, and how we can help you and our beloved community.
